Kraftblock wins prestigious Keeling Curve Prize

We are excited to share that Kraftblock has been awarded the 2025 Keeling Curve Prize in the Energy category! This global recognition affirms our commitment to driving measurable climate solutions and accelerating real-world impact in the fight against climate change.
Each year, the Keeling Curve Prize, presented by the Global Warming Mitigation Project, honors the world’s most effective climate initiatives. Initiatives that are able to stop the growth in the Keeling Curve, the unfortunately steep graph depicting carbon dioxide concentration in our atmosphere, or bend it back to normal.
The $50,000 prize will support our mission to decarbonize industrial energy use. This recognition of our technology's ability to reduce greenhouse gas emissions globally is one of the greatest honors Kraftblock has ever received. Kraftblock’s co-founder and CEA Susanne König highlights the team effort to deploy the technology: “We come together from various engineering and material fields to deploy turnkey plants for industries, and the great minds at Kraftblock make this possible. We are glad that this team effort has resulted in this recognition.
Co-Founder and CEO Martin Schichtel adds: “Our technology's smart and flexible approach really makes projects possible on industrial sites and in the energy system. We adapt thermal energy storage systems to these specific circumstances, paving the way for heat consumers to transition as easily as possible. We are pleased to see our deployment ability recognized, and we look forward to deploying more projects.
Energy is one part of the solution for the climate crisis. Meet the winners from other important sectors.
